Around London

You can find your way around London using the Transport for London website. Particularly useful is the Underground Map. There is also an excellent bus network, but it can be more difficult to find your way around.

Remember that you will need to end your journey at London Bridge or Borough stations. London Bridge is both on the Northern and Jubilee lines. You will normally find it easier to get there on the Jubilee Lines.

For directions from London Bridge station, follow the London Bridge link.

You should buy an Oyster card as soon as you can - it is the cheapest way to travel around London. You can buy them at the airport (at both Gatwick and Heathrow). For more information, look at the London Toolkit page, or simply Google “London oyster card” – you will find lots of information.
